Everyone knows they will probably look at some lights, sing some carols, open gifts that were wrapped up under the tree, go to Christmas Eve service or eat a lot of food. Nothing too life changing.
I was thinking the same thing when I drove home in my little red Saturn. I was looking forward to sending out the Save-the-Dates (which we designed at Adam's house, and they are so beautiful...if i do say so myself!) and planning other wedding details while being home. I never anticipated that when I drove back to Nacogdoches (by the way, im back!) after the break was over, instead of getting married in about 6 months I would instead be getting married in a year and 6 months.
So to clue everyone in here is a letter we sent out through Facebook:
Dear Family and Friends,
We would like to let you know that after much thought and consideration Adam and I have decided to postpone our wedding until the summer of 2013.
Our decision to do so is because of no difficulties or stress on our relationship, but simply because there are opportunities in place now that did not exist when we originally set our date for July 28th 2012 (i.e.: Adam getting his 5th year of running back and Megan training with Team Green in the Woodlands, etc.) And now summer of 2013 makes more sense than the current date.
This decision was not made lightly, and we are sorry if this is an inconvenience to anyone. We only ask for your continued love and support during this time.
Love,
Megan and Adam
Our new date is now: June 22 2013!!
Now I am in Nac. looking for a job...any ideas anyone?????
